By accepting the publication of their articles and creative work at Trasatlántica. Creation and Scholarship, the author states that the work is its own and agrees to the following:
Notwithstanding any terms in the Agreement to the contrary, and in addition to all rights retained by the Author, licensed to the Author by Publisher in the Agreement, and any fair use rights of Author, Author, and Publisher agree that Author shall retain the following rights:
- The Author, without limitation, shall have the non-exclusive right to use, distribute, reproduce, create derivative works (including but not limited to update), perform and publicly display the Work in electronic, digital, or print form, or any other media hereinafter developed, in connection with the Author’s teaching, conference presentations, lectures, other scholarly works, and for all of Author’s academic and professional activities.
- Following publication by the Publisher, the Author shall have all non-exclusive rights necessary to make, or to authorize others to make, the final published version of the Article available in digital form over the Internet, including but not limited to a website under the control of the Author or Author’s employer or through any digital repository, including but not limited to Trasatlantica.org database.
- The Author retains all non-exclusive rights necessary to grant to the Author’s employer the non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, distribute, display, publicly perform, and make copies of the Work in electronic, digital, or print form, or any other media hereinafter developed, in connection with teaching, digital repositories, conference presentations, lectures, other scholarly works, and all academic and professional activities conducted at the Author’s employer.
- The parties agree that wherever there is any conflict between this Addendum and the Publication Agreement, the provisions of the Addendum will control.
- This Addendum and Publication Agreement, taken together, constitute the final agreement between the Author and Publisher for the publication of the Work and allocation of rights in the Article under copyright. Any modification of, or addition to, the terms of this Amendment or the Publication Agreement must be in writing and signed by both the Author and an authorized representative of the Publisher to be effective.
TRASATLANTICA. Creation and Scholarship is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to studying and promoting poetry produced and consumed in Spanish, Portuguese, and English on both sides of the Atlantic. This journal is part of the nonprofit organization TRASATLANTICA.
